Hand Forged Chef Knife

Hand forged Chef Knife of Sheffcut steel with custom resin and wood handle.

Blade is clay heat treated to have a softer spine above the harder cutting edge (spine 56 HRC and cutting edge 62 HRC ).

Some forge scale is left on the blade which has been polished then acid dipped to show the clay treatment effect.
